This guy works every week day in a corner of Plaza Bolívar, from his own house in our beloved old town of Casco Viejo, Panama, selling home made food for workers of the area. His mom helps with the cooking.
I haven’t seem him in bad mood yet, and somehow, no matter what, the guy has always a bright smile and treats everyone with kindness.
He vigorously prepares the dishes of your choice, between his few daily options, and greets you nicely every time he sees you coming back.
Makes me feel more local! Food is great, cheap and very “panamanian”. Always rice with chicken or pork cutlet among with a different salad choice every day.
